GVA fundraise towards Overgate’s Big Build Appeal

At our 10th Birthday celebration earlier this year at the Alma Inn, we weren’t just celebrating a decade of GVA; we were also coming together for a cause close to our hearts.

As part of the day’s fun, we held a charity raffle to raise funds for Overgate Hospice. Thanks to the generosity of our team, their families, and local businesses, the prize list was fantastic, featuring beauty treatments donated by staff families, four fish and chips from West Vale Fisheries, high street vouchers, and more.

Overgate’s wonderful staff came along to organise and run the raffle on the day, and together we raised an incredible £1,340.60, which GVA then matched, bringing the total donation to £2,681.20.

The funds went directly towards Overgate’s Big Build Appeal, a vital project to expand and improve their facilities, enabling them to continue providing exceptional care and support to those who need it most.

A huge thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, donated a prize, or helped on the day. It was another reminder that our GVA family extends far beyond the workplace, and that together, we can make a real difference.
