GVA attend Highways UK at the NEC Birmingham

Last week, the GVA team had a fantastic time attending Highways UK at the NEC Birmingham — the country’s largest roads and highways trade show.

It was great to be alongside so many fellow highways contractors under the NHSS, sharing ideas and exploring the latest innovations shaping the future of our road networks. The exhibition featured an incredible range of stands and technologies from across the industry — a real testament to how dynamic and forward-thinking the highways sector is.

We also had the pleasure of attending the Highways UK Awards for our collaboration award submission on the A63 VRS and Lighting Scheme working with National Highways, McCanns, Colas, and HW Martins, enjoying some excellent food, refreshments, and great company. A huge thank you to everyone we met and connected with over the two days — it was great to share conversations and insights with so many passionate professionals.

We’re already looking forward to Highways UK 2026 and continuing the discussions that started in Birmingham!
