Driving Innovation in Moorland Management

At GVA, we pride ourselves on leading the way in arboriculture and ecology – and last week we took another step forward by joining the VIP Dales Demo Day, hosted by Lowe Maintenance in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

This first-of-its-kind event brought together the region’s most respected organisations, equipment providers, and ecological experts. For GVA, it was the ideal platform to demonstrate how our specialist equipment and expertise can support the future of moorland management, ecological restoration, and rewilding.

Our conversations with leaders such as The Farmer Network, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust / Wild Ingleborough, Gust Hart (PPE & equipment supply) and BP AG Services reinforced the value of cross-sector collaboration in tackling the challenges of managing and restoring upland landscapes.

The Dales Demo Day highlighted the vital role of collaboration between technology, expertise, and practical delivery. At GVA, we’re ready to bring our specialist equipment and ecological knowledge to support partners and projects driving the future of moorland management and rewilding.

A huge thank you to Lowe Maintenance for hosting such a fantastic event and creating a platform for meaningful collaboration.
